Sally Hansen's HD Nail Polish Swatches

Hey everyone! I haven't painted my nails a color in a while, I was having nail issues. So I finally cut them all off and decided to start over. I painted them twice already this week and wanted to share the colors with you. I used my new Sally Hansen HD Nail Polish. Ignore my cuticles, they are healing LOL!!!

 This is Wavelength 11 - This is a metalic bright/hot pink. It took only two coats to achieve this color. I loved this color. It has some undertones of orange in it as well, which is obvious in the picture taken inside.

This is a combination of Hi Def (04 - green) and Three D (07 - yellow) . Why I picked these two colors I don't know, maybe cause I was drinking some sprite, I dunno. Anyways it took 4 coats of the green and only 2 coats of the yellow. The green is VERY sheer, but the yellow is quite opaque.

I thought these were ok nail polishes. The color selection in very bright and cheerful. They all have a metalic finish to them. I wore the Wavelength for 3 days before removing it, and I had no chipping. I found these on clearance, as you can find in my previous CVS Haul post, for less than $2 a bottle. I don't think I would normally wear the green and yellow, just a person preferrence but could be fun to use as nail art.

My NYX Haul

I got these products after the big NYX 12^th anniversary sale fiasco. I wanted to share everything I got with everyone. I’ve included both the website swatch and my personal swatch so you can see what the colors actually look like, as opposed to what the site claims. For SOME reason I picked out some totally random colors – that I have to admit I’m totally questioning – really did I need more browns?!?!?!

Chrome Loose Eye Shadow – I love loose pigment shadows. The color payoff seems to be better with these, than their regular pressing shadows.

 I think these are all great colors, but can be very sheer once blended. Left side was paded on, right side was blended.

 Also, be careful while opening these up because they can be very messy. The lids twist off, but there is a plastic lid (seen behind the container) that you have to pull out.

Mega Shine Lip Gloss – LOVE! These are great lip glosses. I like that they are not sticky, great color selection and pleasant smell. "Vixen" is WAAAAY tooo dark for me, but is a pretty color. The applicator is nice as well.

Blush – Provides a nice color for your cheeks and seems to last a while.

 Jumbo Eye Pencil – I love using these as a base, over a primer. These seem to help bring out the true pigments of your eye shadow. They are very smooth and creamy feeling. The "Baby Blue" for some reason was a LOT softer than the other colors.

LipStick – These have a nice moisturizing feel to them. There are so many colors to chose from, I will be getting more!

And last but certainly not least... Soft Matte Lip Creams: I Love these! At first, I will admit I didn't like the consistancy of these but now I love them! They glide on, smell like buttercream, and leave your lips feeling soooo smooth.

That was all I got from that sale, how ever I wanted to share some swatches with you on some over NYX products I currently own - I will create another post so this isn't soooo long :) ALSO, the alignment is off on this post SORRY I couldn't fix it!!!

Dollar Tree Haul

Soooo in an effort to try to stick to my June Make-Up Budget of only $50, I went to the Dollar Tree to see what they had. I found some fun stuff in there this time. I picked up quite a few things.

I found the only 3 color palettes by L.A. Colors and of course had to purchase them – I’m not very good at doing looks with colors other than neutrals (gee wonder where my comfort zone is ?!?!?!), but I will give them a go as soon as I have some free time (yanno working 60 hours a week is not helping with my blogging habit!!!). Here are the three that I got:

I also noticed some ELF products and picked those up too. They had the 2 in 1 Lip Conditioning Glosses and an all over color stick. I’ve wanted to try the lip conditioners and for only $1, why not?!?!?! Once I swatched them I can tell you they leave a thick gel on your lips. I did not like the tecture, way to thick for me. It was also really hard to get the actually color out, which is probably why it's hard to tell the difference in the colors. I personally won't be purchasing again.

Then I seen they had the all over stick and I was all over it! I’ve wanted to try these for a while, but Target is always out so WooHoo!!!

The last few things I got simply because I was intrigued by them. I just wanted to see what the pay off would be, if nothing I only spent $1 if I did like it, well BONUS!!!

I seen the NYC Limited Edition Lip Plumper in “Sun Goddess”. I put this on to swatch it, and moments later my lips started tingling, and not in a good way. The product was too sticky and once i felt the tingle I decided it wasn't for me.

And lastly I got the Sally Hansen’s Fast Fix Concealer in “Medium” and "All Over Neutralizer"
