Big and Exciting News!!!!

Ok sooo I’ve been celebrating all weekend and couldn’t get on – but I FINALLY made it on here to inform you of my big news that I hinted around to a few weeks ago…

I’M ENGAGED!!!!

My guy isn’t the most romantic person in the world but his heart is always in the right place. The morning started off like any other day; alarm blaring, me hitting the snooze a few times, finally dragging myself out of bed and started to get ready for work. After I finished taking a shower I could here Jerry out side the bathroom, but didn't think too much about it. That was until I looked up at the mirror and it said "Will You Marry Me". I flung the door open and there he was, ring box in hand. Then he said those four words I've been waiting to hear, "Will You Marry Me". Of course I said yes!

We want to get married in September of 2012, so I have a LOT of planning to do before then.

So anyone want to come to St. Louis, MO next year to do my make up for me?!?!?! Just kiddin’.

Fitting into a wedding gown is yet another reason to slim down… I’ll be blogging later to tell you more about my weight loss plan…

Get Your Freak On!

Here is a tag that I seen and decided to do as well... and a LOTD at the end...

1. What’s a nickname only your family calls you?
Ms. Piggy or Pumpkin… Growing up I was (as my mom would say) “big boned”… I’m still a little thick, but you’ll have that…

2.     What’s a weird habit of yours?
I eat my fries before everything else and I only eat 1 item at a time…

3.     Do you have any weird phobias?
I think I am afraid of a lot; spiders, snakes, falling, aliens…

4.   What’s a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you’re alone?
Most country songs, I was just jamming to Jason Aldean’s Dirt Road song…

5.     What’s one of your biggest pet peeves? I only get to pick one?!?!? Chewing with your mouth open, talking with your mouth full, using the last of the toilet paper and not replace, etc…

6.     What’s one of your nervous habits?
I chew on my inner cheek… Ekk!

7.     What side of the bed do you sleep on?
Left side

8.     What was your first stuffed animal and its name?
A pick teddy bear Nuggles (not sure how it sounded coming out of a 2 yr old LOL) I was obsessed with the Snuggle Fabric Softener commercials when I was a kid. I hear I would be in one room playing and when I hear it come on I would run from the other room and just watch it. Nothing could pull me away from it.

9.     What’s the drink you always order at Starbucks?
Never been there, I don’t drink coffee – or the smell of it.

10. What’s a beauty rule you preach, but never actually practice?
I’m always telling people to wash their face every night and I typically just use a facial wipe L

11. Which way do you face in the shower?
Away from the shower head, I don’t like the water in my face too much…
12. Do you have any weird body skills?
That’s kinda personal don’t you think?!?!? Just kidding… I don’t really have any weird skills except I’m very flexible. The first time I EVER went to a yoga class the instructor told me I was lying about never being to one. I’ve been able to do the splits since I was 3 and in the gym class test in school, I could always reach farther than anyone else.

13. What’s your favorite comfort food that’s “bad”, but you love to eat it anyway?
Cheesecake – yummy!!!

14. What’s a phrase or exclamation you always say?
D*****bag, REALLY?!?!?!?!, Dundah Dah, and many more…

15. Time to sleep – what are you actually wearing? Sometimes a big comfy t-shirt or …

My Camping Weekend...

So, as some of you may remember from my splish splash nail art post, I went on a float trip. A weekend that is spent camping, partying, floating on the river and having a blast with friends. I thought I would share some of those moments with you. Don’t pay any attention to the quality of the photos as they were taken with a water proof disposable camera, by people that had a LOT to drink.

We packed up the car and headed down to the camp ground, trying to get there before the storm so we could set our tent up. However, after having to turn around twice and stop for food once our 1 ½ hr trip turned out to be 45 minutes longer than we hoped. We arrived at the camp ground and they told us it just stopped raining, so whew dodge it! We go it and check in and just as we walk out side it starts to drizzle – no big deal but then when you looked into the sky, it was scary looking.

We made it down to the camp site and was able to get a pop up tent up to stand under, which we jokingly used as a garage. It’s so nice to bring your beater car down so you don’t mess up your good cars. Anyways we all stood under the pop up for about 30 mins before all hell broke loose and we all sprinted for our cars. It rained sooooo hard the site started to flood. Then I noticed that the pop was collapsing due to collecting all the rain. I jumped out and was trying to dump the water out, so it didn’t break the pop up. Then my brother and boyfriend came running over to help but they were talk enough to take the top off and guess where at that water landed??? You guess it, on me. About 20 mins later the rain slowed down and I was already soaked so I just cracked open a beer and hung out in the rain LOL!

Saturday morning we woke up around 6:30 am thanks to some noisy campers next to us. Made breakfast and got ready for the float. Loaded up onto the bus (that takes you to where you start) and cracked my first beer at 9:30 am. There are only a FEW times that I will crack a beer that early; Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day and float trips. The float was only 4.5 miles long, but from stopping and partying so much we didn’t finish until 6:00 pm and then ½ of the group stayed down and partied in the water for another 2 hours.

We had sooo much fun; if you ever get the chance get your friends together, pack a cooler and head to the river!

Ok so I’m really behind on posting lately, and I’m SOOOO incredibly sorry for that! Hopefully things will calm down here soon and I can get back to posting.

I probably won’t be doing any hauls for a while, since I’m losing my job the out of control spending is coming to a halt LOL! However, hopefully this will give me more time to review the products that I already have and experiment more with the stuff I’ve shown you.

August BIRCHBOX is here!!!

Anyways, last Friday my BIRCHBOX came, however we were leaving in like 5 mins to go out of town I didn’t have time to open it – BUMMER!!!
