Ok So I just wanted to say that I am REALLY sad that I wasn’t able to take advantage of the $1.20 per item sale. I spent about 2 hours picking out items and putting them into my cart, only to not be able to purchase the items. I didn’t have a lot of items in my cart for a few reasons; 1. It took so long to browse and get items into your cart and 2. because I don’t have a lot of extra money right now. I had a total of $28.80 in my cart, which turned into $90.00 after the site came back online around 6:00 pm (CST).
The most disturbing part is all the mixed information the customers have been getting. NYX Cosmetics said that the server was running, just having a problem handling the volume of people on the site. However, I was told to keep hitting refresh until the server came back online and hopefully it would happen before the sale was over. So – was it a server issue or not?!?!? Supposedly, some people were told if the items were in the cart that you could still check out even after the sale was over, but then they stated that a 50% off coupon would be given out.
While, I love their Jumbo Eye Pencils and will still continue to buy them – I think they would get more honey with bees on this one. Instead of the 50% coupon, offer people the opportunity to use a coupon good for 1 time only for the $1.20 sale, to be used some time over the next 3 months – or whatever.
Just my thoughts, what are yours?

I think it absolutely would have been great of them to continue to offer the $1.20 deal to people. I wasn't able to get onto their site at all but they did send me a 50% off code and I used it! I wonder when my order will come...
I placed my order yesterday, and I got rid of a few items – cause this girl is on a budget LOL, but I did make sure to spend enough to get my free shipping YEAH!!! Someone said 5 to 10 days, but before they said up to 3 weeks so who knows. Hopefully I’ll get a tracking number soon!
